Fancy Doggers

Thanks to Pieter and his recipe, hot dogs just got even better!

Ingredients:

500g Georgie's Cheesy Franks
6 Hotdog buns
Lettuce
BBQ sauce
2 onions, sliced
½ cup Plain yogurt
1 cup all-purpose flour
Mixed spices
Garlic powder
Oil

Method:

Place sliced onion in yoghurt and let stand for 20 mins.

Mix flour and spices in a plastic bag. Place onions in flour mixture and mix well until all onions are coated.

Heat oil in a frying pan and fry half the onions at a time in the oil. Drain on a kitchen towel and set aside.

Place the franks in an air fryer at 160°C.

Butter buns and add lettuce, BBQ sauce and franks, and top with the crispy onion rings.
