You can taste the love we put into our pork. And you can’t make a great product unless you start with quality so we’re serious about provenance too – we can trace any of our products back to the fertile KZN farm is was raised on.
We’re serious about food safety too with strict health and safety protocols for farm-to-fridge hygiene and freshness. We undertake a very thorough audit by the FSA every year and have held full FSA certification for the last 10 years.
International judges love our pork. You will too. Georgie’s pork products garnered three awards at the recent Aurora International Taste Challenge in Stellenbosch. Not that we like to brag about such things.
WHAT’s best with bacon?
Bacon (like most pork) is great enjoyed on its own, but it can also add an extra dimension of flavour to favourites such as pasta and gourmet burgers. Such is the joy of bacon that it can make almost any dish – savoury or sweet – Delicious (with a capital D). What’s your favourite recipe using bacon? We’ve shared a few of ours here.
Let’s be frank – we love hot dogs! But we’ve always worried about what’s in them, so we started making our own. Nothing but quality pork and spices in a firm casing with a light beechwood smoke.
