Curried Bacon & Cheese Buster Corndogs

A delicious sausage in a crisp, deeply flavoured batter
Ingredients:
1 packet Georgie's Bacon & Cheese Buster Sausages
1/2 cup yellow corn meal (polenta)
1/4 cup quick cook maize meal
1 tbsp masala spice
1/2 self raising flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup oil
Extra water to loosen mixture
Mini skewers
Oil to fry
Method:

In a bowl, combine yellow and white maize with masala spice. Sift in flour and baking powder

Combine milk, egg and oil, and whisk it into the flour and maize mixture.

Skewer each Georgie’s sausage and dip it into the batter to coat each evenly. Add extra water to loosen the batter if necessary.

In hot oil, gently fry the battered sausages for a few minutes on each side until golden and crispy.

Remove onto kitchen paper and serve whilst still warm with your choice of sauces
